I desperately need help. Every time I log-in to my emails it is logging out after about 20 seconds, sometimes I get a minute or two. It is happening on my 2 main mailboxes. It took me ages yesterday to be on there long enough to get an email order off. I will miss orders & lose customers if I dont get this fixed soon.
Is this happening to anyone else?

Timing for E-Mail transfer

I am just about to move away from my current hosting service to Webeden, but I wanted to understand how the timing for e-mails works. I have read the FAQ and I use an e-mail client that stores e-mails locally, but I was concerned about loosing e-mails in the time between the old service finishing and the new service starting. So my questions are, will I loose e-mails? and would it be better to do this over a weekend when I generally get less e-mails?

Hi there,
I've been having problems downloading my emails for holkhamforge from the server with Thunderbird v9.0.1 It works at it for a while and then a dialogue box pops up with an error saying the "server has responded: +" then questioning the password. Other times it works fine(without changing the stored login information). I am a bit confused by the +. Is that a legitimate email server response? Thanks for your help.

configuring webeden email addresses with BT Internet

I am a fairly experienced user of Webeden and have successfully migrated my various email addresses into Apple Mail asa single repository for my accounts. My previous provider (Orange broadband) didn't exactly make it easy to find out how to "import" and send mail from an external source (be it Apple Mail or Outlook). Nevertheless with the help of the Webeden support team (thank you) it was cracked and I've had 18 months of unproblematic email bliss.

Until two weeks ago when I changed to BT Infinity.

Can anyone explain what the various setting should be - BT doesn't do IMAP; its SMTP is "mail.btinternet.com"; and your email address has to be validated by them via their own site. If anyone can walk me through the various stages I would be very grateful - as I have 8 addresses I need to migrate!

Can anyone help me please? I was going to update my web pages, but what is there now has completly changed.
The background is black and the text is not visible on three pages. It is a mess and quite unreadable. It has been fine for nearly two years, so what has gone wrong?
I don't even know where to begin.
What I do know is that I haven't made the changes, so I can't be the only one with the problem.
I would so appreciate some guidance.

Mobile Phone email set up.

I have tried to set up email from my phone, it goes through the incoming part ok but when I do the outgoing part & hit next it says 'unable to connect server' I am following the instructions to the letter. I am not touching the port setting as it doesnt mention port in the help set up at all.
Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

I'm trying to set up my e-mail account on my Andriod phone,with little success.
My e-mail address is Tanya@PolitePooches.co.uk
What kind of account is it? POP3? IMAP? Microsoft Exchange?
I've tried all three, and it asks for a domain, or exchange server or something.
Any ideas?

Members of website resubscribing to emails after opting out??

Hi

I have had a couple of issues where the members of my webiste have either opted not to receive emails when signing up, or have accidently opted out byt clicking the link at the bottom of an email they have received from the site. Once they have opted out how do I "opt them back in" when they ask me? Likewise, if they change email address how do I update this??? I do not seem to be able to do it from the People > Members tab... the only option seems to be to send a reset password by email....... so.... how do I amend or re-add an email address to a member who does not have one or has opted out by accident??

I can receive but not send emails from outlook (for Mac). The settings are correct but the it cannot find the server. I can send from webmail but it will not allow me to attach emails. Its becoming a real issue as reliable email is essential to my business.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello again!
First I want to thank you and your team for getting our orginal website changed over and working so quickly, we are delighted with it. However, I fear I may have let a few balls drop - more specifically - a few emails drop - as our charity can no longer receive emails at the moment (we can send them, but not receive any). I have four colleagues who have email adressess with ournames@soundabout.org.uk. In the past we received our emails via googlemail - gmail.

Should I be doing something - does gandi have to be pointed to gmail?
I feel I am almost there - just one more hurdle to overcome!

I've just updated Firefox (Nice!) but can't sign into my mail account

Problem is it comes up with this message -

Now I can't sign in to my mail. When will this be sorted? Or what are my options as I really don't like using Explorer which I'm having to resort to!!!

I have recently built a new website and changed the domain to kemcoltd.co.uk within the past hour (which [i]is[/i] working straight away even though it "may take 72 hours"). However, after setting up 5 email for the site and setting up up password I cannot login on the other 4 addresses (I did not get asked to set up any password for these, just wrote the email address down). I get an error message saying "The server responded: -ERR Login failed"...What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I've had my website built with you for a while and only just transferred over the email domain so I can utilise your 5 email addresses. I have deleted my old email from my old domain so this shouldnt cause a problem.

I set up 3 email addresses for our 3 staff members, 1 works fine but the other two I am unable to access. I have set them up as seperate mailboxes with their own passwords, deleted and added again, reset the passwords and nothing works! I keep getting the ERR message when I log in. When I tried to register the newly setup email for this forum it also said it had no 'MX' address so I had to use my hotmail email address! Please help as I am getting pretty desperate here...., I cant set up the email on my outlook or phone either.

I have an email address set up with '@live' for our business, however every time either me or my business partner send an email, it always shows as being from 'myname so everyone replies to the emails using my name....does that make sense?

Anyway what I want to know is can we set up separate email accounts through webeden e.g. myname@ourwebsite.com & partnername@ourwebsite.com and if so how is this done?

I have a logo of my company that i would like to have on the bottom of the e-mails that i sent now in the e-mail settings it has a box e-mail signature but only lets you put text in is there someway i can put the logo on all outgoing e-mails without having to physically attatch it as an attatchment

Hi sorry for asking this question but I cant source an answer from trawling through the help pages.

When I set up my emails (I got 5 as part of my package) I thought great, customers can send relating questions to suitable emails. It appear all emails, regardless of what address they were sent to end up in one mailbox and when I reply it only sends from one mailbox.

How can I send replies to enquiries from the applicable mailbox (eg, parts enquiry replied to from parts@kiwiblokartsuk.com / sales enquiry replied to from sales@kiwiblokartsuk.com)

I find this to be very frustrating as I don't want to be replying from info@ all the time.

Other than my email issues I'm loving how great the web builder works and the ease of doing what I need.
