Love Webeden and am now a big fan. I run a school website and the guestbook is quite popular (I use 123 guestbook) I would like to use the webeden guestbook widget but it does not have smiley face and stuff like that, the kids seem to love them. It would be good if you could jazz up the guestbook widget and make me a happy bunny... oh a bunny smiley face may be good lol

Round corners on pages

Menu On Top

I totally love the widgets that we can now use but have noticed that the sub-menu when it rolls out hides behind them. Can this be fixed please and allow the menu to roll out on top of the widgets. Have noticed this when using youtube and twitter widgets.

I've been reading through some of the posts related to using jQuery in webeden, and I was just
wondering whether there has been any testing of jQuery. I think it's possible that there are some jQuery solutions to be had on webeden websites, but it would be helpful - and would ultimately save a lot of time if people passed on their experiences of successful jQuery use in webeden... Perhaps a post on the blog would be helpful??

Catagory Search

I am not aware of this function on webeden for searching within a site by categories, for instance: male, age range, hair colour, ethnicity and so on.
As my site is heavily based on a directory of actors, models etc, this facility would allow us and clients a speedier service, as I am sure it would benefit other sites.

Is this a possibility/already available?

Word/phrase linking

Is it possible to have the facility whereby, clicking on a particular heading on say the front page of a site, can take you through to the exact paragraph or word on another page. At the moment i can only link to a specific page, and the article I want to link to, doesn't appear unless you scroll further down?

I was thinking about what I would lke to see on the forums and have come up with this idea.

I think it would be a good idea to have a topic area where Webeden website owners can list their websites for review and for other Webeden users to help and give advice on their website?

I think it would be good for noobies to the site like me who could get some useful and truthful advice from the more expierenced users.

Just a thought.

Drop down boxes where customers could select different options such as colours or sizes when buying products would be useful. At the moment I can only find this facility within the order form, but I would like to be able to use it on individual product pages and link to paypal.

I often get asked to build websites that fit within the screen, i.e no scrolling. However some pages have too much text to fit within this format.. would be ace to have a scrolling bar text box widget

Replicate Menu Feature

Since I've started working on websites in different languages, I've had problems using webeden because I can't replicate the main menu in more than 1 language.

I know the menu acts as the spine of the site, but there must be a way of adding 2 menus to a site so that when users switch from English to another language, they can use the same features on both versions?

Affiliate Scheme

It would be great if Webeden had an affiliate scheme (I believe Moonfruit currently has one) so we could put links on our websites and make a little cash if people sign up through our links. I think an affiliate scheme would be a great addition to the already impressive Webeden package.

Dunno if this has been added since the last time I built a site, but is there the option to just start building without using a template?

I never use the templates and it takes me ages to delete everything off - or am I being a dolt and there IS actually one there?!

....pass the cheesy nibbles by the way, my party plate is looking rather empty
