    Hi there,
    I've been having problems downloading my emails for holkhamforge from the server with Thunderbird v9.0.1 It works at it for a while and then a dialogue box pops up with an error saying the "server has responded: +" then questioning the password. Other times it works fine(without changing the stored login information). I am a bit confused by the +. Is that a legitimate email server response? Thanks for your help.

    I've not heard anything back from the forum so I thought I'd try again.

    This is the Thunderbird error message.
    Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server pop.holkhamforge.co.uk responded: +

    It works maybe 1 time out of 10 so I don't understand. I don't change anything I just try again or close down the application and re open it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The frustrating thing is that I never had any problems with my old ISP and this problem is starting to drive me a bit mad. Please could someone respond - just to show there is someone listening! ;o)

    I'm not a webeden support staff, I'm sorry to say.

    I don't know what the problem might be. Webeden sometimes has 'wars' with browsers when they update and it can take a while for it to update to be suitable with the website / browser combo again. In the meantime I'd use Chrome or another fast browser to edit webeden - In my experience - It will be fixed soon.
