Image border issue?

    I am getting a default white line around the image I have imported to my front page - the photo crop tool will not display the image of the correct size, so I am hitting 'Import' then selecting image from my uploads and it displays correctly, aside from the white border which I can see no way of removing?

    Thoughts or advice welcomed greatly.

    This is now bugging the hell out of me so I would greatly appreciate advice - all I want is my image (which has a black background) to be added seamlessly into my site, which also has a black background, rather than displaying some ugly thin white border around the edge?! There seems to be no way to edit this?????? The photo crop tool is useless as it only wants to import photos in that exact spec, so my square image is redundant! This is insane!

    There should be a setting in your little editor box when you add it to the site

    Style --> border... drop down box, click ' no border '... done?

    I can only think that the image has the border before being added then.

    for example some downloaded ones will, also some paint tools add a border automatically.

    I created it, so no border set.... so infuriating that an uploaded image cannot be cropped or edited in any way?? Seems a huge flaw of the site.... editing under the 'crop image' tool is so limited it's worthless.

    Sounds stupid, but have you actually *tested* it on the web (view button)?
    the edit mode sometimes surrounds it with a border which doesn't appear on web.
