Clarification on Domain transfer

    I am just about to start a transfer of a domain (wintet.com) to Webeden, but wanted to clarify a few points to be sure that I did this correctly:

    1. In the Webeden FAQs it mentions the C NAME record and the DNS A-record. My current hosting service (uk2.net), for a transfer out, tells me to enter the "new DNS Nameservers" it wasnt clear if this is the C NAME field or the DNS A Record.

    2. My domain name subscription expires in about 5 days, I assume that I can re-new this with Webeden. Should I do the domain transfer and the domain subscription at the same time?

    Any help much appreciated.
