Not showing on Google searches, No activity on Google Analytics

    Hi all I was hoping someone may be able to give me some advise. I have had my website www.jncarpet.co.uk running for a while. I have not been able to find it on Google on any related searches and have google analytics running for a week or so with nothing coming up at all. I have submitted the website to Google. I was wondering if I am doing something stupid and google is ignoring my site. I am new to all this stuff. Any advise or suggestions would be very welcome.

    Have you added the Meta tags and Keywords into your website. Go to Pages and click Metadata.

    It takes a little while for google to get all the data for your site,Dont panic to much ,they will index you and the analytics takes about 2 weeks to start working.The best thing for you to do is to start backlinking from other sites as this will increase the amount of times google see's your website.Posting on forums will help if you add your URL www.whatever.com at the end of each post.

    Twitter is another good place to start and facebook, The more links to your site the better,google will often index these aswell.

    My website www.officiallyalexreidfanclub.co.uk was working fine until today, people cant access it on laptops yet they can on mobile phones, also my account has gone from webeden.

    When you build a website you need to have Key words in you Title if possible. HI Tag, this is the text under your title, this should be at least 8 words long. On your home page you should have at least 100 words and within those words you should add you Keywords which you want to be found on the search engines repeat about 5 times if you can. You description which you add on the Meta tags should be 120 letters long. You should also add a link page which you can hide from your customers if you desire. Link to as many sites that are relevant to what you do. The best way is to send a Email to the Webmaster of a site you want to link with, pay them a compliment on what a wonderful website they have and could you possibly link to the site, and them to your site. Finally think about the Domain name you choose, it doesn't necessary have to be the name of you company, I will give you a true example. Chap has a website called SPS Horseboxes, his results are terrible in the search engines. I changed the name to Wiltshire Horsebox Hire and he now has several 1st page results in Google ,Bing and Yahoo. Hope this helps
