Delegating domain
• stringsa May 2010
Hi Ray - I have developed quite a few sites with this amazing system under the MAMMOTH username.

The issue I now have is that I want to give some of my customers FULL control over their websites as well the administration of it.

My problem is that I cannot seem to do this without letting them have my password and login details. This would be a problem as anyone would then have access to all the sites that I have done.

I was wondering - If they open an account with webeden - can ownership of my site then be transferred from my existing account to their new account?

This would help me a lot as I would not have to keep track of domains and renewals, pay it myself and then get the money from them again. They would also be able to log in and change their payment details, passwords etc.

Business wise - this would make sense as more and more people would start to use the webeden system in stead of one developer handling 10 sites.

Can this be done?

Good morning,

Yes that is completely fine, all you need to do is create a new webeden account for each of your customers and then submit a support query from your account explaining what website you want to transfer and to what new account you want it transferred to and the tech team will do that for you. Make sure you send an email whilst logged into your account, and provide them with the exact details for the new account they are being transferred to.

good luck
