Designing Website before it goes live

    Hi Folks

    Is it possible to design a website before making it live. I am looking to build a website for a buisness I have coming but im not ready for it to go live yet, is there a way to design only?

    i am afraid all sites are technically live but if you go to PEOPLE on your toolbar and make the site unavailable to the public then it will not been seen but can still be edited.

    When you start a new page you get the option to hide page from menu, also in organize my pages you can select which pages are visual, so technically you can design the whole sight before making the content visible. good luck

    Also - don't worry too much about the site being live before you're finished with your work, as long as it's not submitted to google for crawling until you're finished, no-one will see it unless you give them the url ;-)
