I have expierenced a small problem when running the spell check within an email.
After running the the spell check within an email I press the return button only to find that my email box goes grey and I seem to lose everything (Crashes).
The first time this happened I had wrote a large email and had to re-compile it, luckily tonight I remembered the error I had last time and copied the mail before clicking the spell check.
I just wanted to bring your attention to it as I dont know if anyone else has had the same issue. And would like to know if there is a fix for it?
I just wanted to add, I know that the provided webmail's spell checker isn't the greatest, so if you would like to use something like Outlook for a better emailing experience the link to help set that up is: http://www.webeden.co.uk/blog/latest-news/how-to-set-up-your-email
Please do note that using outlook only enables you to use Outlook on one computer.
They have confirmed the bug. They have never seen or heard of this issue before so they are going to contact the software provider. They have let them know there is a bug in their webmail.
They’re offering a useful workaround. They suggest using Firefox: you can get a nice Spell Check add-on (Tools > Add ons > Get Add ons and then install the British English dictionary).
This will do the same thing in the New Message window and not crash the message. They are offering this as a very useful work around as the mail issue may take some time to fix.
Thanks Ken.
To be honest the Firefox spell checker works a treat. You need to download the Spell Checker instead of the English Dictionary and when creating an email you will see a small green tick in the bottom right of your screen.
Can you tell us which spell checker that is? I just searched the firefox addons website and it showed lots of them.
