Right, 2nd post on here now. I've just been given this info from a techie friend of a friend!
    My site is www.politepooches.co.uk...

"There are a few problems with the site, which would stop it listing any higher on google, its not passing validation , only done a very quick check but
Line 4, Column 487: there is no attribute "property"
    …n problem behaviour "/><meta property="og:url" content="http://www.politepooch…

simple things like that can stop a ranking getting any higher , i have also checked its ranking and it not ranked but 4 pages are indexed with google, it looks very much like some sort of web site builder has been used"

How can I fix this pleeeeease? xx

This is a bug in the software that will be fixed very soon as it is an issue with Facebook integration.

I can say this would have only a minor impact on Search Engine Results but still an impact.

I can see you are ranked just maybe not for the search terms you require.

It maybe worth looking into http://www.webeden.co.uk/extras/ and Get Found this may give you a quicker ranking than you currently have.

Thanks (again) for your reply Ray,

I've tested my ranking on a few different sites and they say I'm not ranked at all... I hope this bug is fixed soon! xx

There is a very easy fix for your problem, are you trying to get on first page of Google for dog training? if so I have a solution on your Meta title Polite Pooches 1-to-1 Dog Trainer, Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, St ... this needs to say ( Polite Pooches Dog Trainer Warrington and Cheshire) if you put (,) before you mention the location .i.e. Dog Trainer/training, Warrington - Cheshire. Google will not pick this up as a four word key phrase (which is stronger than a keyword)
I have noticed you are ranked for 1 to 1 dog trainer, but this seems to be a weak key word, just focus on dog training and area you wish to cover. don’t just mention Warrington mention the smaller surrounding areas as well, I’ve noticed your Meta keywords are mixed your trying to mention too much, these are key words i.e. dog training in Warrington, dog training in Cheshire, one to one dog training Warrington, (not: meta name="keywords" content="dog trainer training 1 to 1 sessions dog psychologist canine behaviourist dominant aggressive fearful hyper over excited insecure dogs Warrington Cheshire widnes runcorn st helens leigh north west"/). Be more descriptive. Service/location=key. Last hint on Meta description copy and paste your home page info. Not :< Meta name="description" content="Providing kind training, using your dogs natural instincts to learn how to live in our modern, domesticated world. This does not help. You need to do this for each URL, NOT THE SAME INFO. Make sure it’s unique.

Hope this helps - there other SEO ANSWERS if needed. But this should work,.
